It also receives funding from the Scottish Government (for developed Commonwealth countries) while working with the UK universities.

Commonwealth Foundation Scholarships

The Foundation provides grants of up to £200,000 for four years to support innovative ideas and approaches to projects that seek to strengthen the capacity of civic voices to engage with governments and to have the potential to improve governance outcomes and participation through their participation.

The Foundation builds on the power of stories and narrative for social change and will support creative approaches that have the potential to influence public discourse.

Hence, the selection process is highly competitive and the selected projects are designed to work with the potential to lead to the worst results in the strategic logic model of the Foundation.

However, the teams of the Foundation program participate in the definition of the approach to call for proposals. An internal review process, which includes a large list of the grant team, followed by a brief list process that involves all program teams, prepares a final list of requests presented to the grant committee.

The final decisions on which projects to support are made by the Member States represented in the Foundation Grants Committee.
