Although Brown did not provide average SAT and ACT scores for individuals admitted, they should be in the same ballpark as our previous colleges. Brown may accept more candidates, but compared to non-Ivy League schools, they still have a high bar to clear.
Brown was a pivotal figure in the Revolutionary War. In reaction to British advances, the institution was utilized to lodge American troops, and the school was closed for six years. Brown is governed by Christina Paxson, the university’s 19th president, who took over in 2012.
2. University of Pennsylvania
The University of Pennsylvania (Penn for short) is the second Ivy League school on our list of the easiest to get an application approved to.
With a 7.7% acceptance rate, Penn admitted 3,446 out of 44,961 applications, making it the third easiest Ivy League school to get into.
The average SAT and ACT scores were 1460-1550 and 33-35, respectively. By a little margin, SAT scores were more lenient than Harvard’s, while ACT scores were comparable.
Penn is one of those places where if you start, you will almost certainly finish. Penn has a 96% undergraduate graduation rate after six years.
3. Cornell University
Cornell is the newest and most straightforward Ivy League school on the list.
Cornell admitted 5,330 candidates from a pool of 49,114, with an acceptance percentage of around 10.9 percent. This admission percentage is more than double that of our top two schools, Harvard and Columbia, and as a result, prospective students have the best chance of being accepted.
The average SAT reading and writing exam scores ranged from 680 for the 25th percentile to 760 for the 75th percentile. Math scores ranged from 720 for the 25th percentile to 800 for the 75th percentile. The 25th and 75th percentiles of ACT scores were 32 and 35, respectively.
